Ben Jay is a New York-based photographer, journalist, and writer, specializing in food, music, and whatever news is currently shaping New York and the world.
He currently contributes to WNYC's Leonard Lopate Show, Gothamist, and Edible. In the past, he's worked for the Village Voice, CBS News, CMJ, Serious Eats, Eater, DNAInfo and numerous local publications. His work has also appeared in The New York Times and Deadspin.
In his spare time, he enjoys brisket, poutine, dark beer, They Might Be Giants, biking, and Liverpool FC.
